My Chore List

Ok, let be me real with you. I am so far behind in my house I question myself for even sitting here and writing this blog post!! I have somehow convinced myself that by making this list and making it "public" it will motivate me to get it done. Lord willing, these children of mine will cooperate and let me get all this work done. So here is My Chore List!!!! I plan to cross them off this post when they are done. Wish me luck :0)

  1. Clean the kitchen
  2. Finish the laundry (if you only new how much laundry there is! Note my Thankful Friend post for details) Note: when i say "finish" it is used loosly lol.
  3. Clean the living area
  4. Do the floors
  5. Clean my room
  6. Pick up Savannahs room
  7. Clean the bathroom
  8. Go to Sam's Club (anyone know if they are open July 4th? Leave a comment if you do as you can see I might not make it to this one today haha).

    I feel your pain. It's been so hot here that we've been putting off housecleaning. Now, with out of town company arriving today, there's no more putting it off. I have to say this--undone chores seem to grow in one's mind, and actually doing them is [somewhat] easier than dreading them and worrying about them. Good luck to both of us!

    One day at a time. Or hour, ha! As you work your way through the list I will pray that your strength will be renewed and joy in your service to your family will flood your heart. I remember the days with young children -- sometimes they were overwhelming in the magnitude of what needed accomplished. Praying for you, dear one.
