Hope

A good friend of mine (who gave me permission to write this) has been struggling with her position in life. Like all of us do at some point, she has been praying for the opportunity to make more money, get a bigger house and provide better for her family. So often when the things we pray for don't get fulfilled in "our" time we start to get discouraged. We start wondering if God is really listening. During a busy day while watching 6 kids she walked into her backyard to tend to her garden. Her mind was on all the things that needed her attention and her strong desire to provide for her family. When suddenly she noticed something in the grass. She looked down to exam it closer and saw a cross. It was a cross she had never seen before, she didn't know where it came from. When she picked it up in her hands she was flooded with the feeling that God had not forgotten her, and that her prayers would be answered in God's time and in God's way.

  5. Inspiring. "The Love of God...so rich and pure...how measureless and strong." God loves us enough to wait for the best time for our prayers to be answered.

    In Him,

  9. Amen.. Amen. And perhaps God has bigger things than her current prayers and desires. He always loves to delight and often surprises us that the things we want most turn out to be different than we thought.

Happy TT. Rejoicing in His love today. Hugs, Lynn

  11. An amazing example of how God works so mysteriously sometimes; yet never fails to hold us in the palm of His hand. Thanks for sharing her story with us. Heather
